Associa Sierra North Helps Master-Planned Community Sort Out Security and Infrastructure Concerns

This 2262-unit master-planned community in Sparks, Nevada has been managed by Associa Sierra North since 2000.

Challenge:

The community association was dealing with a variety of issues, including limited amounts of available water, security concerns, and aging trees impacting infrastructure.

Resolution:

Associa Sierra North helped the association handle its limited water supply by xeriscaping parts of the community and enhancing its irrigation system to mitigate debris from golf course water. The team also bolstered the community patrol partnership and installed security cameras on the property, which helped solve a missing person case in the area and build a relationship with the local police. Trees that were causing infrastructure issues were identified as part of an ongoing project, and management worked with the landscape contractor, general contractor, and a tree specialist to grind down and replace roots and sidewalks and establish a barrier to keep the issue from reoccurring. The association is grateful for Associa Sierra North’s work to successfully address these issues, protect the community’s assets, improve the overall appearance, and boost the quality of life.
