Associa Sierra North Helps Community Resolve Self-Management Issues

This 99-unit beach property located in Zephyr Cove, Nevada has been managed by Associa Sierra North since 2020.

Challenge:

Prior to Associa Sierra North’s management, the community was self-managed. This led to issues with owner litigations, board members putting in extreme hours (2000+), and high costs for legal and accounting operations. 

Resolution: 

Upon partnering with the community, Associa Sierra North developed a two-step plan, with board approval, to slowly implement the team into community operations. Initially, they provided only interim administrative support; noticing meetings, agendas, and guiding the board and homeowners on Nevada law, gradually transitioning to full service a few months later. Associa Sierra North’s work led to reduced operating costs and board member hours while elevating the board experience to be more productive and professional.
